Chinese calligraphy – a lively conception of some equilibrium forces, which is conveyed by the soft-tipped brush on rice paper. Smart Fish will share with you the stories about calligraphy, for example, an ancient calligrapher made a breakthrough in calligraphy after watching a celebrated dancer dancing with a sword.

You will know how to use the qi (energy) from your arm, wrist and hand into the brush; how to control the 'power' of the ink on the rice paper and how to manage the strokes to draw beautiful and balanced characters...

A unique view to all the calligraphy styles in the history through an evolving approach can also be presented to understand it more and better, e.g.: writing materials, background of the economic and historical situations, what are the skills to write and appreciate the strokes, the connections between calligraphy style and philosophy & social values at that time. Our fluent explanation in English and wary demonstration & coaching will help you improve fast.
